About the CanYPA
CanYPA is the first and only Canada-based politically and economically oriented youth association. We aim to be a bold voice for Canadian youth in politics, with articles written and edited by students, interviews conducted by students, and networking opportunities for like-minded students, all hoping to build a coalition of youth for a responsible, evidence-based, and sustainable vision of policy in tomorrow’s Canada.
Mission & Values
We are at a turning point for Canadian youth—policy decisions made by our politicians today will reverberate upon generations to come, for better or worse. Yet, the voices of youth are often overshadowed by the noise of polarizing rhetoric; all of Canada suffers when our leaders fail to listen.
At the CanYPA, we aim to present an alternative as the sober voice of the next generation, advocating for a responsible vision of policy in tomorrow’s Canada. With student-led journalism and initiatives, the CanYPA hopes to promote civic dialogue among young Canadians, ensuring youth have a role in building a brighter future for Canada.
